PROTECT is compounded without chemical UV filters like oxybenzone and octinoxate, which are known to harm coral reefs—even in minuscule amounts. Instead, I use only zinc oxide, in non-nanoparticle formulation—UV filters recognised globally as safe for marine ecosystems and humans.
